CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

"Fitness for Peri-Menopause" Workshop

Navigate the Transition. Reclaim Your Vitality.

Perimenopause brings about significant physiological shifts, but it doesn't have to mean a decline in your fitness or well-being. This specialized workshop is designed to pull back the curtain on the hormonal changes occurring in your body and provide you with a clear, science-backed roadmap for staying strong, energetic, and resilient.

Join our expert team of Doctors of Physical Therapy—Amy Davis, Amelia Foster, and Rachel Rose-Murphy—for a comprehensive session dedicated to helping women thrive during this life transition.

What We’ll Cover

This workshop combines clinical expertise with practical application to address the unique needs of the perimenopausal body:

Strength Training for Longevity: Why lifting matters now more than ever for bone density, muscle mass, and metabolic health.

Navigating Hormonal Health: Understanding how shifting estrogen and progesterone levels affect your energy, recovery, and mood.

Optimizing Performance: Strategies to adjust your exercise routine to "work with" your body rather than against it.

The Pelvic Floor & Beyond: Addressing common (but not "normal") symptoms that can arise during this phase of life.

Why Attend?

You’ll benefit from the collective knowledge of three physical therapists who specialize in female physiology. This isn’t just a lecture; it’s an interactive workshop designed to empower you with the tools to keep feeling like the best version of yourself.

Our Philosophy: "Perimenopause is a powerful transition. By shifting our approach to fitness and recovery now, we set the foundation for a vibrant, high-performing future."

"Lower Extremity Rehab Mobility" Workshop

Regain Your Strength. Restore Your Movement.

Transitioning from surgery back to your daily routine can feel like a daunting climb. Whether you’ve recently had a knee replacement, ankle reconstruction, or hip surgery, the "Rehab Mobility Workshop" is designed to bridge the gap between clinical recovery and confident, everyday movement.

Led by Jake Medvinovich, a highly skilled Massage Therapist and certified NeuroMuscular Therapist (NMT), this specialized session focuses on the essential pillars of lower extremity recovery in a supportive, professional environment.

What We’ll Cover

This workshop is strategically designed to target the common hurdles faced during post-orthopedic recovery:

Improved Range of Motion (ROM): Guided techniques to gently unlock stiffness in the hips, knees, and ankles.

Edema Management: Learn specific movements and positioning to help decrease swelling and improve circulation.

Flexibility & Lengthening: Safe stretching protocols to address muscle tightness that often follows periods of immobilization.

Light Strengthening: Foundations for rebuilding stability and support around your surgical site without overtaxing the joint.

Why Attend?

Post-operative care isn't just about healing the bone or ligament; it’s about teaching your body how to move again. With his NMT certification, Jake brings an advanced understanding of the relationship between the nervous system and the muscular system, ensuring every exercise is tailored for maximum safety and efficacy.

Expert Guidance: "My goal is to empower you with a toolkit of movements you can perform confidently at home to accelerate your journey back to the activities you love." — Jake Medvinovich
